1st level control
The head of each business segment identifies and manages risks, as well as definines and manages the controls within the operating processes that require specific business skills.
2nd LEVEL CONTROL
This stage concerns the process of identification, assessment, management and control of risks related to operations, and ensures their compatibility with business objectives, while providing for the application of segregation criteria for effective monitoring.
Some of the functions typically engaged in these control activities are headed by the Group Senior Compliance Officer.
3RD LEVEL CONTROL
The Internal Audit function provides overall assurance of the design and functioning of the Internal Control System by means of independent assessments.
